Get Full Fibre in Cornwall with Wildanet

Struggling with slow, unreliable broadband? The Gigabit Broadband Voucher Scheme. funded by the UK Government’s Department for Digital, Culture, Media and Sport (DCMS), helps cover the cost of installing gigabit-capable full fibre broadband directly to your home or business. Wildanet is a registered supplier, and we’re connecting communities across Cornwall right now.

A gigabit connection delivers speeds of up to 2,000Mbps, around 40 times faster than average broadband speeds in Cornwall, transforming how you work, stream, and stay connected.

How Does the Gigabit Broadband Voucher Scheme Work?

It’s simple. For every home or business that Wildanet connects in eligible areas, the Government pays a subsidy to help cover some of the costs of bringing our gigabit network to your community. The more vouchers that are claimed, the more funding becomes available, and the more people we can connect.

The Process
  1. You sign up with Wildanet for a gigabit-capable broadband connection
  2. We request a voucher from the government (DCMS) on your behalf
  3. DCMS emails you to confirm you’re happy to proceed — check for emails from [email protected]
  4. You click the link in the DCMS email to confirm your agreement
  5. We install your new full fibre connection
  6. We notify DCMS that your connection is live
  7. DCMS emails you again to confirm the service is working; you have 28 days to respond
  8. You confirm via the DCMS link that you’re happy with your service
  9. DCMS pays Wildanet the voucher value

Who Claims the Voucher?

Wildanet claims the voucher directly from DCMS; you don’t need to apply for funding yourself. All we need from you is to respond to the two emails DCMS sends you during the process. These confirmations are essential: without them, we cannot claim the funding that makes it viable to bring gigabit broadband to your community.

What are the Benefits of Gigabit Broadband?

Gigabit broadband through the voucher scheme gives Cornwall homes and businesses access to speeds of up to 2,000Mbps, infrastructure that will serve your community for generations.
